Bardou is a village of forty-three inhabitants on the boundary of the Dordogne and Périgord, about twenty minutes from Bergerac airport. Getting here is straightforward, and for most arrivals the final ten minutes are the prettiest part of the journey.
Manoir du Suquet is run directly by Stephanie and Skip Bowman — we don't have a front desk, a reservations team, or an auto-responder pretending to be either. It's just us, which is both the limitation and the point.
